Project 365 is by no means a new project and I cannot take the credit for it… but so far any of the ones I have seen have been interesting but not always the greatest quality pictures or the best in variety. It is my goal to produce as much as possible in variety, style, location and subject and to add to this great camera, filters and Photoshop techniques.

I want it to be not only an interesting project but also one that will be a teaching projects for me and anyone that comes back and enjoys the images. In addition to the photographs I will also add information on the photographs and any information like location, exposure, lens and camera used as time permits. I know that during our busy season it will be harder to keep up the variety and written information and I also know that there will be times that I will wonder what to take photographs of to keep the project interesting and of great variety. Having said that I welcome any suggestions and ideas.

Photographically yours.
Fred Meulemeester

To see the photographs so far check out this Project 365 on my Facebook at Fred's Project 365

There are a few reasons for me wanting to do this project. First I want to stay up to date with photography and I believe that this project will challenge me to try new styles of photographs. Some of the projects I seen out there were of poor quality as some of the days it looks like the photograph just snapped a photo just to say he took a picture that day. And second the real challenge for me will be to not only try and take a different photo each day of the year but also to take something of high quality not just a snapshot.

Some of the photographs will of course be from my everyday work like weddings, family and children photographs and dance and sport photographs. However I will also be looking to photograph models, commercial photographs, close-up, micro photography and much, much more.

In addition to capturing the photograph I will also add information on where the photo was taken, camera used and exposure and so on so that ones the project is done I will be able to use the photos and information as a teaching tool.

Now here is where you come in as I will welcome any ideas you have on creating the most unique and interesting photos. Also from time to time I will come up with different locations and photo project that I will want to add to my 365 project. So if you have photo that you would like to have taken and I can use them for my project then we should talk as I will be doing these at a very special price for you. As the project is being done the photographs will be added to a special promotional website and ones the project is done I will then create a teaching DVD and supply you with a free copy or copies as gifts.
