Thank you for your visit to our Dance and Sports Photography Website. We live in busy times, so we appreciate your interest in our company and for taking the time to read over our letter.

We are "Fred's Photography, established in Tillsonburg Ontario since 1973". Our studio has specialized in many forms of photography for over 35 years but Dance and Sports photography has been our driving force for the last 25. We specialize in Skating, Dancing, Gymnastics, Hockey and all types of sports photography.

Due to the changing times we have found that our clients needs have changed also. Some want more options, some want less. We have developed a few different options that we hope will satisfy everyone. We would like to acquaint you with what we have to offer.

Below is a quick description:

Option 1: Selling at the Year-End Shows: If you choose this option we will photograph ALL Individuals and ALL Groups on a specified picture day. We process the best shots and return the finished packages to carnival/recital or any year-end-show; giving parents/participants the option to purchase the packages or not. This method has the quickest turn around time, requiring only a few days to complete. Our Standard Package for this option consists of 1 5x7 Group, 1 5x7 Individual and 4 4x6 Individual photographs. In the case of a Solo you receive 2 5x7 Individual's (different pose) and 4 4x6 Individual photographs. A reorder form accompanies each purchase which lists additional items such as collages, key chains, etc. that you may purchase at a later time if you choose.

  • Option 2: Pre Paid Selling on Picture Day: We offer TWO options in Pre Paid Selling, a simple style, and a more extensive style. You will be able to choose which style most suits your club or school.
  • Pre Paid Option 1: If you choose this format, we will provide you with order forms to be handed out prior to picture day. On picture day our photographer and sales team will arrive with extra forms. For things to run smoothly we require everyone to have their forms filled out and method of payment ready BEFORE pictures are taken. We require one form for each different number or costume you wish to purchase. Our sales team will be happy to help parents who need assistance in filling out the forms. These packages include tax and require 4 to 6 weeks for delivery to the club/school.

  • #1 1 5x7 Group OR Individual
  • #2 1 5x7 Group and 1 5x7 Individual
  • #3 1 5x7 Group and 1 5x7 Individual plus 4 4x6's
  • #4 1 8x10 Group OR Individual

  • Pre Paid Option 2:

    The Pre-Paid Option #2 is similar to Pre-Paid Option # 1, the big difference being that it also includes many additional items from our reorder list such as buttons, fridge magnets, key chains and 4 different collages. In addition to this you will also be able to purchase anything from wallets to enlargements and posters. These packages also include tax and require 6 to 8 weeks for delivery.

    With Pre Paid options 1 and 2 the photographs and packages can be delivered to the club for distribution or if you wish we can add $4.00 to each order and ship the photographs directly to the customer's home. For the customers convenience we have three methods of payment: Debit, Credit Card, Amex or Cash. Sorry we do NOT accept personal checks.

  • Dance or Club Competitions: Many clubs offer competitions within their own club or region. We are available for both action shots, whether that is on the ice or on stage, or posed photographs with awards. With this we offer two options, either to print the photographs right on the spot or to deliver the pictures later.

    Fred Meulemeester, owner of Fred's Photography is a past Chairman of the Western Ontario Branch of the Professional Photographers of Ontario and a Western Ontario Photographer of the Year. He has been a working professional for thirty years and in that time he has photographed 1000's of weddings throughout Ontario including Niagara, Toronto, and Ottawa, plus Jamaica and the Dominican Republic.

    Fred joined the Professional Photographers of Ontario, Professional Photographers of Canada, and the Professional photographers of America in 1976. In 1989 Fred received his Craftsman of Photographic awards in Whistler Mountain BC, and his Masters of Photographic Arts in 1990 from the Professional photographers of Canada in Prince Edward Island, Canada. For personal reasons I am no longer a member but the benefits and instruction will last a lifetime.

    In addition to that Fred has won numerous awards from the Professional Photographers of Michigan and Ontario including the prestigious Kodak Gallery Award. Fred is also ACCREDITED by the Professional Photographers of Canada in: High Key Children's Portrait, Wedding Story.

    Fred's Schooling in photography include such schools as Winona Professional School of Photography, were he has taken both courses in Fine Art Black and White photography as well as Advanced Portrait photography, Fred also studied under Barry Rankin photographic craftsman, Bill Browne wedding photography, Tibor Horvath portrait photography and many more.

    For about the last 25 years the main thrust of our business has been figure skaters, dancers, gymnasts, and sports in general. The combined sports and dance is now to the point we photograph upward of 60 skating clubs, sports and dance schools a year.

    We still love doing weddings. You know you have established a good name when you find yourself photographing the wedding of the children of a couple who's wedding you photographed 25 or 30 years ago. It's all about treating people right.
