Well please add us Canadian on your list of locals and be advised that we will tell al our friends and relatives about this place. So by now you must think that we loved the food there! Do you see picture of the plate of Sushi well we ordered two. So yes, we loved it and be sure to go back next time we are in Acapulco. So when their add says; “It specializes in the freshest seafood and it sushi bar according to the experts, is considered one of the best in Mexico.” we agree! Restaurants around Hotel Boca Chica Acapulco is the Marina Club Sushi and Oyster bar restaurant.

Located in a small peninsula adjacent to Caletilla beach in Nautical Acapulco, the Boca Chica Hotel is the perfect place for those seeking a natural environment right on the water and apart from the high-rise hotels. Its excellent location allows for breathtaking views of Roqueta Island (right across), and the Boca Chica channel.  This unique location on the channel has the advantage of providing the hotel with the most tranquil and cleanest waters in Acapulco ideal for scuba diving or just swimming. The Island and its surrounding area has been declared an ecological park and reserve so fishing is not allowed to conserve the varied marine life. Of course if you into scuba diving then the best place is in your back yard at Roqueta Island. And there is a great scuba place right there on Caleta Beach. It is Mantarraya Dive Shop; they offer great Scuba trips two or three times a day. It is also the scuba shop that I take my dives with ever since I first met Leo on Caleta Beach. Daily 9 am-5 pm. Caleta Beach., Gran Via Tropical 68, Acapulco. Phone 482-4176.
So one day I stopped and asked Leo about taking a dive. So he explained what was involved for beginners and how they will explain how to dive, and don't forget to breath. So I asked him what happenes if I don't come up, joking off course, so Leo said if you don't come up you don't pay. So I passed and the following year I took a course back home and started diving with Mantarraya each time I came to Acapulco.

Anyone into snorkeling? Well the Boca Chica is the perfect place for snorkeling or just swimming among colorful tropical fish. Have a closer look at the picture and you can see how it is located next to the water and rocks, just the right condition for snorkeling. 
Let me tell you a little about Leo the dive master from Mantarraya Dive Shop. I had been going to Acapulco for a couple of years now and of course visited our favorite beach,
But I will never forget the first time I dove with Leo. We loaded up the boat and off to Roqueta Island. As I was ready to take my first dive, Leo told me to jump overboard and he would be right behind me. So looking over the side of the boat I told Leo that we could not jump as we would hit the rocks. Well he started to laugh and said that the rocks were at least 30 feet deep. So that was not only the beginning of my diving but also a friendship with Leo.
