Acapulco January 2002, for sun, fun and a great tax write-off!
- Well here we go again. I have lost count of how many times I have been to Acapulco but for some reason I fell in love with the place many years ago. Well this winter we are planning on going back to Acapulco again and we will once again stay at the Panoramic. We stayed there back in January 2000 and we had the time of our lives.
- The Barcelo Panoramic Acapulco is, depending on what book you look at, a two-plus to a four star hotel. But for the price you cannot beat it as the all-inclusive starting at $1000.00 for one week and $1299.00 for two weeks. However if you book early you save up to $140.00 per couple per week. By-the-way this is all in Canadian money, can you beat this? However remember that this was in 2002!
- This is not the newest hotel on the strip, but as far as I'm concerned one of the nicest when it comes to location. The hotel is set on a hillside overlooking the beautiful Bay of Acapulco. To have supper is probably the highlight of the day as you sit in an open air restaurant overlooking the whole harbor and Bay of Acapulco. It is so romantic and relaxing. Two or three times a week they serve a specialty meal, with anything from Mexican to Roast Beef. There is also nightly entertainment and drinks being served from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm. All Inclusive
- To get down to the ocean you can take the free shuttle, but since it takes less that 5 minutes to walk we usually walk to the beach. Of course walking down the hill is easy, it's the going up that's harder to do.
- Now, how many would like to come and spend one or two weeks with us. Someday I will be arranging a two/three day photography workshop, complete with models and great locations. And best of all this could be tax deductible for some of you.
Just think about, a one or two week vacation in romantic Acapulco that can save you money on your taxes. Now where would you rather be the first two weeks in January? Shoveling out your driveway or taking beautiful photographs and relaxing in the sun. The cost for the two day workshop will be only $450.00 Canadian, including instructions, models and plenty of great times.
Bring a second person and pay only 50% for the second person. Included on this page are some of the exotic locations that we will be photographing.
One other thing to remember we will most likely be at another hotel as I have not seen this property offered in any of the brochures.
